Abstract

This article brings results of a case study applied with survey, seeking to analyze the aspects of the digital inclusion through the users of Tabuleiro Digital public Internet access point of the College of Education of the Federal University of Bahia - FACED/ UFBA. The main objective study was intended to investigate the type of digital inclusion, promoted by this Project, in accordance with perspective of the literature present. The specific objectives indicate the characteristics of the profile from the users; types of applications used and purpose of the Internet confrontation with levels of education and social. In this way, the information society and digital inclusion are contextualized; also the aspects of the inclusion of the Tabuleiro are demonstrated and discussed. Finally, with the analysis, was evidenced that the type of digital inclusion of the Project is induced (technique).

Barbara Coelho Neves, Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA) - BA - Brasil

Mestranda em Ciência da Informação (PPGCI-UFBA), com pesquisa focada em abordagem cognitiva da inclusão digital. Graduada em Biblioteconomia e Documentação (ICI-UFBA), a pesquisadora também possui especialização em Gestão da Comunicação Organizacional Integrada (NPGA-UFBA). Executa atividades de pesquisa e publicações, tendo experiência em estratégia de busca, com ênfase em fontes de informação eletrônica. Desenvolve atividades ligadas ao apoio à pesqusa, atuando principalmente nos temas: Sociedade da Informação (Inclusão Digital) e Gestão da Informação (estratégias de busca na Internet, Métodos Quantitativos - Infometria e revistas eletrônicas).

Henriette Ferreira Gomes, Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA) - BA - Brasil

Possui doutorado em Educação pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (2006), mestrado em Educação pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (2000) e graduação em Biblioteconomia e Documentação pela Fundação Escola de Sociologia e Política de São Paulo (1980). Atualmente é professor adjunto da Universidade Federal da Bahia, Vice-Coordenadora do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciência da Informação do Instituto de Ciência da Informação da UFBA. Tem experiência na área de Ciência da Informação, com ênfase em Educação e Comunicação, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: comunicação, informação, educação, mediação, tecnologias da informação, comunicação e documentação científica.
