With the web, webometric indicators arise, these analogs to traditional bibliometric and scientometric indicators. They can be useful to understand the popularity and visibility of scientific journals, supporting management reflections. The objective is present the Google Analytics tool by applying it to the Journal Communication & Information, in order to understand their potential for obtaining information and indicators. The Google Analytics tool provided the design and visualization of several indicators based on visits made in the magazine's website and its many variables (demographic, technology issues, time), indicating great potential for supporting the management and editorial planning scientific journals.
