A leitura e o estudante de biblioteconomia: um instrumento para sua formação

Abstract

Através de estudos com base na comunidade de estudantes do curso de Biblioteconomia da UNESP- Marília, sua relação com a leitura, o espaço que ela ocupa neste meio e sua influência na formação dos estudantes, procurou-se estabelecer qual a posição do estudante universitário, no caso de Biblioteconomia, quanto à sua formação como leitor. A leitura e a relação direta com a escrita também é parte integrante do trabalho, pela sistematização de conceitos, considerando-se também outras hipóteses como, por exemplo, esforços sobre a leitura como pesquisa educacional e a evolução da leitura na sociedade diante dos problemas sociais, políticos e econômicos.

Rogério Xavier Neves

graduação em Biblioteconomia pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1999) e mestrado em Educação pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2004) . Atualmente é Colaborador técnico na organização de acervos do Centro de Documentação e Memória da Unesp, Professor temporário contratado da Universidade Federal de São Carlos e Professor Colaborador da Faculdade de Educação.
