Objective: This descriptive empirical research intended to map the concept of “information regime”, from the application of the IRaMuTeQ program on bibliographic data from Scopus, BRAPCI and LISA databases, as well as conducting a survey of bibliographic production on the Lattes Platform, through the scriptLattes tool, and in the CNPq Research Groups Directory.
Method: From a Bibliometric approach, the study mapped the Scopus, BRAPCI, and LISA databases, from 1999 to 2019, to apply the similarity analysis of the IRaMuTeQ program in the abstracts of articles to identify the terms that reflected the plurality of the concept, as well as tracing the profile of scientific production and researchers in the Lattes Platform and the CNPq Research Groups Directory.
Result: The application of IRaMuTeQ demonstrated greater efficiency in textual corpora coming from databases in the domain of Information Science. The bibliographic production on “information regime” grew since 2009, with emphasis on the volume in 2018. The Northeast Region stood out in the scope of publications and networks of scientific collaboration. The Southeast Region, on the other hand, had the largest number of researchers with emphasis on research groups at CNPq and research projects at Lattes.
Conclusions: The mapping from IRaMuTeQ pointed out the terms that reflect the plurality of the concept of “information regime. The mapping of scientific production and researchers in Lattes and in the databases revealed that the concept is more explored in Information Science in relation to other areas of knowledge.
