Impacts and possibilities of technologies in the socio-educational context

It analyzes the impact caused by new technologies on society, and consequently, on education with emphasis to the Internet. It highlights, under a critical reflective perspective the limitation and possibilities of these resources in face of the following questions: democratization of access, use in daily activities of schools and influence on continued improvement of teachers. It concludes that this technological revolution is irreversible. Therefore , it is necessary to assure that these resources can be used for the wellbeing of mankind, and not as means of exclusion.Downloads
