Abstract

In the present work we study the mismatch of the argument of
Galileo Galilei about the Earth s rotation, which is in the book
Dialogue concerning the two chief world systems ptolomaic and copernican . We present some astronomical discoveries by
Galileo and its consequences to understand the universe s
ordination. One discussion about the scientific methods intuid by
him is presented, with the aim to encourage us all to think about
how Galileo s observation of the cosmos force us to reconsider
our understanding of the world. In addition we would like to help
answering some basic questions in physics and astronomy.
