Abstract

The experimental apparatus known as Galileo s train which shows the principle of independence of movements, is a very attractive didactic tool to be used in Kinematics teaching, particularly if it is applied in the studies of the trajectory de- scribed by a projectile. This article, therefore, has the purpose to present an alternative to the Galileo s train now called Galileo s car . The characteristic of this equipment is its low cost, simply handling and assembled with materials easily found in the market. In using this apparatus, the teacher will be able to motivate the students to actively participate in the Kinematics classes.
