High School students' conceptual schemes on the physical behavior of extrinsic semiconductors

Abstract

In this paper, we expose the didactic need to undertake investigations oriented to integrate the basic notions of Physics of Semiconductor in the High School Physics and Chemistry curriculum. The objective of this approach is to serve as complement and support to study of the Electronics in the Technology Area. In this sense, we present the results of an investigation carried out with High School students (14-15 years), about theirs conceptions and learning difficulties on the electrical behaviour of extrinsic semiconductors.
