Abstract

This special edition of Fórum Linguístico aims to discuss how the historical-cultural perspective, with respect to Vygotskian thinking, can be relevant for professionals working with school education in language, whether as an object of teaching or as an object of research, at different levels of schooling. The relevance of this discussion stems from the current moment in history in which the epistemic approach is called into question, raising complex queries about the role of school education.

Atua nos programas de graduação em Letras e pós-graduação em Estudos Linguísticos e Literários (PPGI) da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC). Sua área de interesse é a formação de professores de línguas, predominantemente sob fundamentação sociocultural/histórico-cultural.

Atua em diversos cursos de graduação da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. É vinculada aos programas de pós-graduação em Linguística e mestrado professional em Letras, ambos pela mesma instituição. Interessa-se pela educação linguística na perspectiva histórico-cultural, com ênfase nos processos orientados para a formação humana.
