Art to Dance: Rada's candombe for Figari

This didactic unit presents the rioplatense art in different expressions. With authentic language samples, we aim to assist teachers in their task of Spanish teaching in Brazil, to inspire them to create their own educational materials from information and content available on the Internet, and, last but not least, to expand the Brazilian students' thinking about Afro-Uruguayan culture, stimulating them to think about their own culture. The unit is structured in three moments: the first one is based on a brief introductory activity and on an approach to the semantic field that they will encounter during the whole initiative. The objective is to develop the fundamental lexical competence for the tasks that will be realized later; the second moment shows ten tasks that combine different communicative skills; the third and last one culminates in a writing activity that privileges the personal letter genre.
