Reading and authorship in a school context: a pedagogical proposal through the materialist AD bias

Inscribed in the theoretical and methodological scope of Discourse Analysis (DA) by Michel Pêcheux, this article is part of a doctoral research that focuses on reading, interpretation and authorship in a school context. The corpus of analysis consisted of texts produced by students from the 6th to the 9th grade based on a pedagogical proposal that sought to anchor the theoretical postulates of AD in the context of teaching and learning. The objective of the study was to reflect on the school pedagogical discourse, the conditions of reading and writing production, as well as analyzing how the subject-student represents himself (function-reader /subject-reader /function-author /subject-author) when he assumes the authorship of his speech. The results of the analysis revealed that the majority assumed an authorship, since they managed to historicize their sayings, marking an ideological position.
