Hommer Simpson: o protagonista (in)visível dos 35 anos do Jornal Nacional
Abstract
This is a critical examination of Brazilian television and its news program set off by the Jornal Nacional’s 35th birthday celebration. It identifies the newscast strategic value as the country’s most impacting information product and as an instrument of social preservation and transformation based on representations and national identities constructed by the newscast. In addition, this article questions journalism practice and research through results of reception studies and personal interviews with media professionals.Downloads
