Abstract

 

O relato de toda história se organiza sempre a partir da articulação de um conjunto de elementos, a que podemos chamar de estratégias ou procedimentos narrativos. A destreza com que esses procedimentos são engendrados por aquele que conta a história realiza um efeito radical sobre o significado daquilo que se conta. Muitas vezes, a própria credibilidade dos eventos narrados se define pelo uso de determinadas estratégias de relato. A reportagem, como relato comprometido com a veracidade dos acontecimentos, é tão dependente e signatária dessas estratégias quanto a narrativa que se compromete tão somente com a imaginação.

Jornalista com doutorado em Literatura e professora do Departamento de Jornalismo da universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC).
