The southern Brazilian universities webradios’ panorama

Abstract

This article aims to draw a map of the webradios of federal universities that have journalism courses in the South of Brazil. To look at the history of these web stations, we tried to understand its position in the landscape of the convergence from its insertion in the courses. At the end, we indicate a relationship between organizational structure and content of the three analyzed radios (Ponto UFSC, Rádio Comunicação e Da Hora) with two perspectives: a) their trajectory and time of existence; e) their relation to educational activities of the course.

Debora Cristina Lopez, Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (UFOP)

Doutora em Comunicação e Cultura Contemporâneas (UFBA), mestra em Letras (Unioeste) e jornalista (UEPG). Atualmente desenvolve estágio pós-doutoral junto à UERJ. É professora permanente do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação e do curso de Jornalismo da UFOP. Coordena o Grupo de Pesquisa Convergência e Jornalismo (ConJor).

Kamilla Morando Avelar, Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (UFOP)

Bacharela em jornalismo pelo Centro Universitário de Belo Horizonte (UNI-BH). Pós-graduada em gestão de marketing pela Fundação Dom Cabral. Mestranda do programa de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação e Temporalidades pela Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (PPGCOM/UFOP). Membro do Grupo de Pesquisa Convergência e Jornalismo (Conjor). Bolsista da FAPEMIG.
