Leisure in the master plan of the Cordeirópolis City – SP

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the organization’s policies that define the space, equipmentand leisure activities undertaken in Cordeirópolis from the social organization of the citypopulation and its influence on policy building. Therefore, we analyze the context andMaster Plan of Cordeirópolis, which is still in preparation, and the space that it makes itpossible for the population to participate in the process of creation and administrationof leisure spaces. The methodological approach driven covers the literature review,documental and conducting semi-structured interviews with leaders of nongovernmentalorganizations and neighborhood associations, representatives of the people whoparticipated in (the) process of developing the Master Plan of the City of Cordeirópolis.
