The investigative perspective contributing to teaching and learning degree in mathematics

This work aims to discuss the activities developed in the thematic unit Study and Development of Projects - EDP in the curricular matrix of the Degree in Mathematics that takes into account the construction and development of projects. Thematic unit is present in the initial six semesters of the degree course in Mathematics and is organized from problems that are of student interest that are guided by the principles of the methodology of scientific work, taking into account the construction and development of projects, designed as a basic strategy for the student to develop research as a fundamental principle in his academic formation. The results show that this procedure allowed the insertion of the future teacher in the scientific world of Mathematics Education and enabled a more comprehensive training.
