Development and legal system: Lessons from past experiences

Since the end of the Second World War, there were several important attempts in order to succeed on understanding the relation between legal system and on development promotion. This paper focus on reviewing several theories that, through the history, looked for understanding the relations between jurisprudence and development process. These theories, however, went down due to the lack of a basic theory, that could make clear and coherently diverse shades of this complex relation.Downloads
