ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING OBSERVATIONS:

  • The Editorial Team will proceed to preliminary analysis indesk review, identifying the observance of all the rules for articles' presentation adopted by the journal, as well as the adequacy of the submission to the editorial scope indicated in the item "About the Journal".
  • Authors published in The Seqüência Journal will have to wait for one year to have their work reviewed and published in the journal again.
  • English articles (even if by Brazilian authors,as long as they are from international institutions) will have preference in the order of publication.
  • The Journal publishes three issues annually, in the system of continuous publication and, because it has a high degree of exogeny of its authors, articles by authors from Santa Catarina have a limitation for inclusion in each volume published.  Plus, the Editorial Team reserves the right not to publish texts approved immediately, considering the maximum number of articles per issue and, especially, the relation exogeny/endogeny.
  • The journal's manuscript evaluation process follows the SciELO guidelines available in the report Criteria, policy and procedures for admission and permanence of journals in the SciELO Brazil Collection, updated in May 2020.
  • By submitting an article to the Journal, the author formally agrees not to submit it concomitantly to another journal or event.  During the process evaluation, the authors may cancel the submission of their paper or request its cancellation by e-mail revista.sequencia@contato.ufsc.br. In case this procedure is not followed and the article is accepted by our reviewers, it will be considered as if the author had published its work in The Seqüência Journal and, in this case, this will imply at least a period of 4 (four) years (from the acceptance date of the work) until the author can submit again  its article to the journal.
