Focusing on the theoretical constructions of Nancy Fraser and Judith Butler, this investigation aims to structure a theory of emancipatory justice for the diverse female identities that mark the woman category. Fraser and Butler are chosen as the theoretical basis and use the research technique of indirect documentation. The research question is: does the theoretical approach between Nancy Fraser and Judith Butler contribute to the structuring of a theory of emancipatory justice for the different female identities that mark the woman category? It is based on the hypothesis that the theoretical approach between Nancy Fraser and Judith Butler contributes to the structuring of a theory of emancipatory justice for the various female identities that mark the woman category. It is argued that the articulation between the authors enables a theory that presents emancipatory potential for the various identities that make up the woman category.
