Author Biography

Daniele Petruccioli, Pesquisador autônomo

Daniele Petruccioli è nato a Roma, dove vive.

Dopo essersi diplomato all’accademia d’arte drammatica Silvio D’Amico di Roma, per anni si è occupato principalmente di teatro.

Laureatosi poi in lingue all’Università della Tuscia di Viterbo, dal 2005 collabora come traduttore con diverse case editrici, occupandosi di tutta l’area lusofona, dal Portogallo al Brasile passando per l’Angola e il Mozambico, con particolare attenzione alle aree limite di sperimentazione linguistica e della letteratura postcoloniale. Fra i suoi autori: Dulce Maria Cardoso, Alain Mabanckou, Will Self.

Per gli anni accademici 2009-2011 ha ottenuto il contratto di insegnamento ufficiale di Lingua e Traduzione Portoghese e Brasiliana alla Facoltà di Lingue e Letterature Straniere Moderne dell’Università della Tuscia di Viterbo.

Attualmente insegna Lingua e Traduzione Portoghese e Brasiliana alle università “Tor Vergata” e “Unint” di Roma.
