Neologism is a new word introduced in a language. It is often incorporated by a linguistic community when in high frequency. More important than vain discussions in Brazil about its prohibition by law should be the consciousness of language development. Thus, it is necessary to study how to include neologism in a dictionary microstructure. Foreign terms are specially difficult due to its graphic form. In this work, forty very usual foreign terms in French have been analyzed. Their inclusion has been verified in lists of basic vocabulary and in four French-Portuguese bilingual dictionaries repertories.Downloads
