A comunicação na educação de infância numa perspectiva multimodal

Resumo

O artigo visa caracterizar a atividade comunicativa da criança como inerentemente multimodal, num contexto de educação pré-escolar em Portugal; nele se apresentam os resultados de uma pesquisa-ac?a?o, informada e sustentada pela abordagem da multimodalidade, fazendo algumas associações com a teoria dos multiletramentos, apontando os dados para a relevância de reconceptualizar o desenvolvimento da comunicação na educação de infância, de modo a abraçar o desenvolvimento de reperto?rios semio?ticos multimodais e na?o exclusivamente os modos oral e escrito da linguagem verbal
