This research is aimed at estimating the impact for a company from joining a network of organizations. The method consisted of a survey in 135 companies, with data analyzed with a predominantly quantitative lens. Findings suggest that variable satisfaction is directly related to other variables that empower the network to develop in a secure, relatively stable environment, thus enabling private goals to be achieved. Accordingly, evidence shows that networks are institutions set up to accomplish particular organizational purposes, lowering the environmental uncertainties, but not preventing agents from behaving individually.Downloads
