This article aims to analyze teaching proposals adopting na Ethnomathematics approach in the classroom and its interactions with different cultural groups. A Systematic Literature Review was conducted, which resulted in 72 academic research studies. Using Discursive Textual Analysis, six final categories were identified: Ethnomathematics and development of human values; Ethnomathematics through cultural products; Ethnomathematics and the relationship between schooled and non-schooled knowledge; Ethnomathematics through work culture; Ethnomathematics as a teaching method for learning; Ethnomathematics as a research and teaching method. The analyzes showed that the authors, by encouraging students to recognize the different language games and the different uses of Mathematics in cultural contexts, create conditions to value knowledge and practices. Some productions show that research plays a central role, as students assume the role of researchers, are motivated to seek information, develop planning, reflection and collective and critical thinking.
