Tradução do Hibridismo: Análise da Versão Portuguesa de “The Joy Luck Club” de Amy Tan

Como escritora da literatura americana, sendo chinesa, Amy Tan nasceu e cresceu nos Estados Unidos. Nas suas obras, nota-se, por vezes, o aparecimento de marcas da língua chinesa, que é evidente, por vezes, no discurso de uma pessoa bilíngue. Além disso, as suas obras também estão repletas de palavras culturais fortemente ligadas à cultura tradicional chinesa que, ao serem traduzidas, encontram lacunas lexicais na língua alvo, produzindo divergências e perdas de significação. Através da análise do hibridismo linguístico e cultural na tradução portuguesa da “The Joy Luck Club” dela, pretendemos destacar como é que estes fenómenos híbridos são transpostos do texto-fonte para o texto-alvo, com isso, ajudar os leitores a compreender melhor as funções e os resultados tradutológicos destes fenómenos híbridos.
