Recursos Educacionais Abertos no cenário global: destaques e desafios

Resumo

Dado o reconhecimento do movimento de Recursos Educacionais Abertos (REA) no cenário global, este artigo fornece uma visão dos esforços de implementação de REA, baseando-se em dois documentos - Relatório Global REA 2017 e o Plano de Ação REA 2017 de Liubliana. O primeiro analisa o progresso da iniciativa de 2012 a 2017. O segundo recomenda ações e estratégias para aproveitar o potencial dos recursos abertos. Argumentamos que os documentos ajudaram a compor a Recomendação REA UNESCO 2019, cujas recomendações motivaram a UNESCO e parcerias a produzir um guia sobre a utilização de REA sob a Pandemia COVID-19, seguindo as Recomendações de 2019. Em alinhamento com as experiências inovadoras trazidas pelo guia, ressaltamos a relevância de REA para o compartilhamento de conhecimento referente ao ensino.
