Tacel Coutinho Leal, UNISUL

Tacel Coutinho Leal concluded his doctoral studies at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) in 2006, where he defended the dissertation Daring Art: Erotic Imagery in the Poetry of Walt Whitman and Adrienne Rich . His main interests include gender, sexuality and media studies. He also writes fiction, having a short story “Mariana” published by Guemanisse in Rio de Janeiro. Nowadays he is a professor at Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina (UNISUL), in Florianópolis.
