Sin Nombre, Babel e os conflitos nas zonas de contato

Resumo

As zonas de contato podem ser entendidas como espaços onde as culturas se encontram eestabelecemrelações de poder com base em processos históricos de dominação e desigualdade. Em tais espaços e sob tais circunstâncias,  dinâmicas de poder são, às vezes,resultado do ato de deslocamento geográfico, executado pelo indivíduo advindo de uma cultura central, o qual  é visto como o turista ou expatriado, ou pelo sujeito subalterno que viaja para uma nação imperialista em busca de melhores perspectivas, o qual  é visto como o imigrante – às vezes ilegal. O objetivo deste artigo é examinar Sin Nombre (2009) e Babel (2006), dois filmes que trazem representações de ambas as instâncias de trânsito e da desigualdade de poder, através das lentes  do conceito pós-colonial de zonas de contato.
