This article aims to present the discussion about the figure of the cyborg within Afrofuturist literature, based on the narrative of the writer Fábio Kabral. In O Caçador Cibernético da Rua Treze and A Cientista Guerreira do Facão Furioso, the cyborg materializes in the figure of the protagonists João Arolê and Jamila Olabamji, representing the idea of ??fragmentation of the subject. In this way, we will address the forms of re-signification of the subject based on religiosity and the confrontation of capitalist logic.
