Abstract

Librarians are facing a lot of ethical conflicts. To address those ethical conflicts it is a strategic issue to promulgate similar codes of ethics. However, the only way to get ethical codes shared by librarian across cultural, social and political diversity is to build on the common values shared by the library profession.
