Abstract

This review examines the book Towards a More Inclusive Digital Journalism (2024) and its
contributions to discussions on journalism, diversity, and social justice. It highlights how an intersectional
perspective helps explain inequalities in information production and circulation. The work addresses issues
such as racism, LGBTQIAPN+ discrimination, violence against women journalists, and the representation of
marginalized groups. The analysis emphasizes the relationship between communication, technology, and
human rights. It also discusses theoretical contributions concerning mediatization, platformization, and critical
epistemologies. The review concludes that the book promotes more inclusive journalistic practices committed
to democracy and social justice.
