Abstract

O artigo discute o papel das fontes interessadas na configuração das notícias, descrevendo a relação entre jornalistas e fontes como um campo de negociação de interesses. Aponta o papel mediador do jornalismo entre as fontes e o público, sustenta a pertinência do conceito de pseudoevento e analisa seus casos extremos, como a desinformação e o terrorismo. Por fim, aponta o sistema político como principal fornecedor de fatos à imprensa.

Lorenzo Gomis, Universidade Autônoma de Barcelona

Professor catedrático de Jornalismo na Universidade Autônoma de Barcelona/ Espanha. Foi coordenador editorial do jornal LA Vanguardia e diretor da revista El Ciervo. è autor dos livros "EL medio media: la función política de la prensa", "Teoria de los gèneres periodistics" e "Teoria del Periodismo: cómo se forma el presente".
