6. A televisão e a concorrência digital: o fim do monopólio do vídeo

Abstract

The business of television is based on the monopoly of transmission of video content and the broadcast system. This is incompatible with the digital environment of comunication, where the consumer can choose how, when and where watch what he wants. The Digital TV needs to find another model of business more appropriate to compete in the new environment.
