Momentos Bossa Nova: arte e modernidade sob os olhares da revista O Cruzeiro
Abstract
This article discusses some representations for modernity proposed by O Cruzeiro maganize. Nevertheless, special attention is given to a new graphic design explored in 1959 and 1960, named “Bossa Nova pages”. Characterized by the geometric, economy of elements and wide use of photomontage, the movement sttod for a manifestation for the updating of the graphic form according to the “constructivists” thoughts, which were coming out in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro at the time.Downloads
