Health crisis, territories and poverty

The article discusses the health crisis resulting from Covid-19 and its social, economic and political consequences with a focus on the Brazilian reality. Based on documentary research, it focuses on the measures taken by the Brazilian government to combat the pandemic, analyzes inequalities, especially of race, color and gender in terms of access to vaccines, the State's counter-reforms and their impact on public policies and, finally, the necessary presence of the state sphere in the fight against poverty and inequalities.
