Abstract

The text presents a reflection on howthe business press has acted withregard to the announcement of therewards of holding the World Cup inBrazil in 2014. The analysis is basedon the concepts of plus-value ideological,proposed by Ludovico Silva,communication sovereignty, a collectiveof communicators popular Venezuelanand Brazilian, and journalismas a form of knowledge, proposedby Adelmo Genro Filho. It starts withthe pedagogy of seduction capitalist,incensed by the media, and comes toproposals for sovereign control popularand journalism and liberating.
