Abstract

The Olympic Games 2016 in Riode Janeiro, is a historic moment ofpublic policy for sport and leisure inBrazil. After the State pass throughseveral stages in its long history ofthese policies, we arrive at a differenttime, where a populist governmentdeepened the neoliberalpolicies in the sport. This momentthat unites society, governmentand economy, achieve a consensusindisputable and redefines itsstrategy to develop the sport withinthe meaning of sport performance.Be developed in the sport nowmeans getting a great position inthe ranking of 2016. well, forgetthe politics directed to sports and educational participation and masksthe reality with the sport of income.While everyone talks about a newdevelopment of sport in Brazil,indicate that this moment is markedby the development of underdevelopmentof the national sport, and ourguidelines co-opted and controlledby the sports spectacle.
