Crise da universidade, crise da educação ou crise da sociedade brasileira?

En una sociedad como la brasileña, basada en los privilegios de clase de la burguesía, la presencia de 70 millones de harmbrientos, de 8 millones de niños sin escuela, de elevados tasas de evasión y de reprobación escolar y la oferta de una educación descualificada para la mayoría del contingente escolar, son productos "naturales" y absolutamente de acuerdo a las exigencias deI "capitalismo brasileño". Por esto, se sostiene la tesis de que históricamente la tarea que se impone prioritariamente a la educación es la lucha por su propia transformación, subordinada y articulada con la lucha por la transformación de la sociedad brasileña, condición sin la cual el proclamado principio de defensa de una educación volcada hacia los intereses de las subalternas se vuelve vacío y abstracto.
