Abstract

The aim of this paper is to mention some factors and characters that played important roles for the formation of the political thought in the beginning of the Christian period, more preciselyin the period known as Patristic, when the join of the Spiritual and Temporal Powers, that were concentrated in the hands of the Roman emperors, was split by the Catholic dogma.

Alexandre Ribas de Paulo, UEM

Graduado em Direito pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina em 2000 e Mestre em Direito pelo Curso de Pós Graduação em Direito (CPGD/UFSC) em 2006, na área de Direito, Estado e Sociedade. Atualmente é Professor Assistente na Universidade Estadual de Maringá (UEM), lecionando a matéria de Direito Processual Penal, Doutorando pelo CPGD/UFSC e Pesquisador do Ius Commune Grupo de Pesquisa Interinstituional em História da Cultura Jurídica (CNPq/UFSC), elaborando pesquisa em Direito Penal e Processual Germânico altomedieval.
