The review is about the translation choices made in Baz Luhrman's film adaptation in 2013 of the literary work The Great Gatsby, published by F. Scott Fitzgerald in 1925. Bringing Considerations to Scholars Like Even-Zohar (1990), Xavier (2003) ), Lucas (2007), among others, in order to expose how the historical-social context interferes in the translation process of a work for the canvases.References
