Porque usar programas de apoio à tradução?

The existing resistance against computer-assisted translation tools (“CAT”) comes from the fact that too many translators still do not understand that those tools do not translate but only help the translator do a better job in a more comfortable way and from the confusion with machine translation tools that still do hilarious jobs. In addition to helping the translator maintain consistency, avoid omitted text and handle names and numbers correctly, those tools also automatically create searchable bilingual corpora. Refusing to use them is tantamount to tightening screws with a kitchen knife when there are screwdrivers at hand.Downloads
