The Law Project “School without Party” and Science Education

Abstract

We discuss some implications of the law project “School without party”(Law project nº  867/2015 and Senate law project  n° 193/2016) for science education, with focus on the science and religion issue, the “origins of the universe” and “origins of life”. For this purpose, we present discussions regarding the “Nature of Science” and some communicative ideals which emmerged from the “Theory of Communicative Action”.

Licenciado e Bacharel em Física, Mestre e Doutor em Ensino de Física pela Universidade de São Paulo. Atualmente é professor da Licenciatura em Física na Universidade Federal de Lavras. Pesquisa contribuições da História e Filosofia da Ciência para o Ensino de Ciências.

Hernani Luiz Azevedo, Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso - Campus Sinop

Licenciado e Bacharel em Física pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos, Mestre em Ensino de Física pela Universidade Estadual Paulista. Atualmente é doutorando pelo Programa de Pós-graduação em Educação em Ciências e Matemática da Rede Amazônica de Educação em Ciências e Matemática (REAMEC) e professor da Universidade Federal do Mato Grosso.
