Author Biography

Ana Flavia Boeing Marcelino, Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina

I have a Master's degree from the Graduate Programa in English: Linguistic and Literary Studies at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. I also have an English teaching degree from the same university where I am currently a Portuguese for foreigners teacher at the Extracurricular courses. I am a member of the Center for Research and Teaching of Portuguese as a Foreign Language, where I participate as a CELPE-BRAS speaking evaluator. I am interested in the field of Applied Linguistics, focusing on Portuguese as a Foreign and Host Language, as well as in the teaching of English as FL in the university context and in the public school sector. I am part of the AQUILES Research group: Acquisition of English as a Foreign Language: theoretical, pedagogical, and research methodology issues.
