Abstract

The study of Contemporary and Modern Physics in High School is an important proposal for a large number of scientific education researchers. In the past years, various papers discussed and presented results about the introduction of Contemporary and Modern Physics in Science classes. This paper discuss these subjects and propose an historical-philosophical approach for the study of the Special Theory of Relativity, so this way students could understand questions about these subjects which bring different reflections from the common sense students have learned.
