Abstract

In this interview, Professor Carlos Camponez, from the University of Coimbra, reflects on the technological, cultural and ethical changes that journalism is undergoing. The president of the Lusophone Federation of Communication Sciences (Lusocom) assesses how journalists have organized themselves ethically in Portugal, Brazil and other Portuguese-speaking countries. Camponez also shares part of his recent research on how intellectuals who were journalists - such as Albert Camus - can help us understand what it means to do journalism well.
