About the Journal

The Katálysis Magazine, created in 1997, every four months, Qualis / Capes A-1, intended for the publication of original scientific articles on current and relevant subjects in the scope of Social Work, related areas and their interdisciplinary relations. Each edition focuses on a thematic unit, in view of its importance within the contemporary social context, but it also opens space for works that deal with free themes. The journal is linked to the Graduate Program in Social Work and to the Graduate Course in Social Work at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Florianópolis.
