Abstract

The olympic body is inscribed as a reference body and in constant transformation,a kaleidoscope of social and cultural attributions, it has been occupying a peculiarspace both past and present. In this sense, it has been thought of the possible olympicswimmers body representations that was broadcasted by Terra’s website in 2008. Forthis, the methodology used was the analysis of 391 photos and its respective captionsabout the topic here proposed.
