Abstract

The systematization of the topic/content of wrestling for the subject of Physical Education at school is a deficiency of this area of study. This fact is considered by some teachers as limited to the pedagogical treatment of such topic/content. We understand that it is possible to oppose such alleged limitation by considering: our understanding of the function of PhysicalEducation at school, a curriculumfor the suject, the time at school, and the characteristics of the student in every phase. Thus, this topic/content appears justified and can be organized by building a grounding so that future pedagogical interventions make its presence and study in the educational sphere possible.
