Abstract

This study is an action research that presents the different methodological strategies in the teaching of improvisationdance in physical education for children. To do this, it included the observation and recording of all given classes, in which 40 children about 5 and 6 years enrolled in a private schoolin Campo Grande-MS. From the data collection, it was verified that the methodological strategies for teaching the teachers were: dialogue (communication),motivation, arousal of curiosity(with supporting materials) and demonstration. In short, the teachers used various teaching strategies to enable the experience through dance improvisation.
