The kindergarten and the (im) possible links in the school field: the plots in the passage between the play, learning and educating

Abstract

The aim of this article is analyzing the possible relations between the children’s education and the recreational activities performed. In the current organization of the school unit, would it be possible to think the relations among playing, learning and educating as process for the development of the thought in the kid and its inclusion in the cultural field? It is understood that the playing brings in itself the contradiction between the necessary and the superfluous, in other words, in one hand it is appreciated as “pedagogical” and, in the other hand, it is a distraction element. This duality about the meaning of playing in the educational process of the individual produces its defects in a market society. In this study it was used as method the bibliographic review based in authors who allow conceptualizing what can be called playing in the school field. It was concluded it is necessary that the intellectuals acting in the school field rework the playing as school curriculum part and, thus, it is important to reorganize the educational.
